From Underdog to Big Easy Anthem: Lil Wayne Hopes for Surprise Super Bowl LIX Blowout

Lil Wayne is “hoping” he receives the invitation to play in New Orleans’ Suρer Bowl LIX.

Weezy was recently asked if, given the opportunity, he would perform at the 2025 Suρer Bowl during an appearance on YG’s 4HUNNID podcast. In response, the emcee removed his glasses and gave the audience a “quit playing with me” expression. Subsequently, he disclosed that he had been “praying” for them to start talking since he was eager to perform the play in his hometown.

“I won’t mislead you. There has been no call or nothing at all. We offer prayers. Our fingers are crossed. I’m exerting a lot of effort at work. “I’m going to make sure that everything I do, including this next album, is amazing,” he said. “I just want to make it difficult for them to ignore the boy’s hollers.I might resemble [Rihanna]. After RiRi was on the scene, she simply continued year after year.

Not only Wayne, but many others are also eager to hear from Jay-Z, Roc Nation, and the NFL. Recently, Deion Sanders expressed his desire to have the Young Money CEO open the Halftime Show. On Sunday, February 11, the renowned NFL player posted a recommendation on X/Twitter. He wrote, “NFL, I hope Lil Wayne plays in the NFL Suρer Bowl in New Orleans in 2025.” I’m grateful in advance. Warm regards, CoachPrime.

The remainder of the audience was dispersed throughout Paramount’s streaming services and networks, which include NFL +, Paramount+, Univision, Nickelodeon, and CBS Sports.

In case you were wondering, Usher emerged victorious in the Chiefs vs. Niners championship game. However, Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City won the Vince Lombardi Trophy for an unknown reason. Strange.
