This is the general situation of households living in mountainous areas in Surabaya, Indonesia. They often face the situation of encountering giant pythons entering the house. Especially for households with poultry such as chickens and ducks, this is not strange anymore.
According to the video and up-to-date information, these two giant brocade pythons are up to 10m in size, weighing nearly 200kg, and can be as big as 3 muscular men. After being discovered, people called neighbors to help to carry the giant brocade python out of the house.
It took four or five men to carry the two pythons back to the wild and it took 5 hours.
After about 1 day, the video was posted on social networking platforms, it has more than 3 million views with many comments that are continuously updated by netizens.
“This is the first time I have seen such a huge python,” commented one person, “I still think that such a big python only exists on TV.”
Another shared: “I wonder what they do with it after taking it out of the house. Why not contact a professional force to do this? If it’s killed, will they be breaking wildlife laws?”
In the face of many conflicting comments, the regional authority said that the giant python was released after being caught by the people.
