Seventh graders in Texas recently came into a genuine life-or-death conflict.
They came upon a hawk and a western rat snake in what appeared to be a death grip while at their school district’s outdoor learning facility close to Fort Worth.
They alerted the personnel, believing it to be a dead bird and snake.
