Social media went into a frenzy after the eerie ‘creature’ seen in the video bared a resemblance to the mythical Loch Ness monster.
The giant serpent-like object was spotted snaking through the water by a kayaker in Lake Turgoyak
Footage of the creature reveals huge black rings resembling the curves of a giant snake.
He said the entire incident unfolded over 20 minutes.

Mr Nenarokov said: “To be honest, I was a little bit afraid. I decided not to approach closer than 20 metres to it.
“I captured it on video from three different sides. Honestly, that was scary.”
He admitted the incident could have been training divers but he said he spoke to the only dive teams in the area and they denied swimming deep in that part of the lake.
But he later spoke to the only divers in the area that day and they denied swimming deep in that part of the lake.
Mr Nenarokov added: “Visually it looked like a huge long animal – a huge snake, 10-15 meters long.”

The internet has already gone wild with the Loch Ness theories – naming the creature ‘Miassnessi’ – similar to Nessie, the legend of Loch Ness.
Turgoyak Lake is the second clearest lake in Russia and is a popular tourist destination with resorts and numerous holiday camps.
