An unusually-shaped object was filmed in the skies over Denton County, prompting self-professed UFO experts to investigate. A “mind blowing” video shared online by YouTuber EagleRun23 appears to show an object with two thin sides and a rounded top hovering in the air – much to the consternation of eyewitnesses. The UFO sighting has prompted a popular conspiracy theorist and hoax promoter to speculate about its supposed alien origin.
According to EagleRun23, the object appeared in Texas’ skies earlier this month, with the video dated June 4 at 8.57pm local time.
In a brief description posted on YouTube, the uploader wrote: “It’s an unidentified flying object to me because I don’t know what it was.
“We were sitting by the fire. Little ones had the bubbles going.
“Any idea? Deflated balloon of some sort? Almost looked like a parachute.”

A man can also be heard in the video saying: “No idea what that is. Is it going down, or it is going…
A child is also heard in the background saying it looks like a spaceship, while someone else suggests it looks like a “parachute opening”.
Despite the more obvious and plausible explanations suggested, UFO hunter Scott C Waring believes the video footage could be of the real deal.
Mr Waring runs the popular UFO blog UFOSightingsDaily.com, where he frequently shares bizarre clips and pictures of supposed ET phenomena – many of which are too farfetched to be taken seriously.
He said of the Texas UFO: “Watching this raw video taken from Texas during a family outing is mind-blowing.
“This UFO is like no other I have ever seen. The craft is standing upright and has a huge rectangle in its centre.
“The eyewitness’s kids continue blowing bubbles… oblivious to the alien craft passing overhead.
“But the father keeps his cool and tries his best to ignore the bubbles and keep focussed on the unusual shaped craft flying over them.”
Mr Waring went on to describe the object as a “ring UFO” that has collapsed in on itself “to appear thinner and long like a key”.
