NASA images of the dark side of the moon appear to show odd “reflective structures” which apparently once belonged to an ancient intelligent race. The images show square rocks which almost appear if they were man-made by intelligent beings. Alien-hunters have claimed the buildings were abandoned “millions” of years ago, leading to theories a “tragic” event took place.
Prominent conspiracy-theorist Scott C Waring made the bizarre claims, stating the city even included a port.
Mr Waring wrote on ET Database: “The objects seem to be very reflective, but have dark black areas that have a lot of right angles and appear to be structures.
“Some of the objects were white reflective roofs or buildings that had openings that allow ships to come and go. Some of the ships in those structures are hanging half way out which makes me think some tragic event happened that stopped them from exiting fully.
“Everything is old, broken and abandoned. The structures all look millions of years old, not thousands, not hundreds.
“These were around far before human life on Earth began.”
This is not the first time a mysterious structure has been spotted on the lunar surface.
Some conspiracy theorists claims the Moon could still be occupied by aliens and that is the reason NASA has not returned since the Apollo missions ended in the 1970s.
They suspect findings such as this pyramid and other anomalies could be monuments built by an ancient alien civilisation similar to the pyramids and other structures on Earth.
However, sceptics and even NASA itself said the ‘buildings’ and other similar findings are just the effects of pareidolia – a psychological phenomenon when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects or shapes in patterns or textures such as a rock surface.
